Content introduction:
The goal of this mode is to change player-specific dialogue to be gender neutral and remove certain gender-specific parts of the game.
To turn content on/off, you must first run the game with the content patch and gender-neutral mods installed.
Once you run the game, the "config.json" file should appear in Stardew Valley/Mods/[CP] Gender Neutral Mods
When you open the "config.json" file you will see three options:
FixBathHouse - Transform the bathroom, allowing you to enter and exit through any door. If you have another mod, replace Bathhouse, you prefer to use it instead of changing this value to "false".
ReplaceGenderSymbols - This will change the gender symbols in the character creation menu to 1 and 2 as well as any menus using the Stardew Valley default gender symbols. If you want the normal gender symbols to remain unchanged, change this value to "false".
FixDialogues - This is the core of the mod, it changes all NPC dialogue to use gender neutral language. I've included it because I've received a few requests to make this mod switchable. If you want to close the gender-neutral dialog box, change this value to "false".

Install:
- Install the latest version of SMAPI.
- Download this mod and extract it to Stardew Valley/Mods.
- Use SMAPI to run the game.
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
