Froststar11’s Kitchenette 🏡
✨ Welcome to Froststar’s Little Kitchen!
Have you ever been troubled by the fact that the farmhouse your grandpa left you didn’t have a kitchen? Doesn't this old man even have a kitchen? And what about the items from your previous life? Have you abandoned them all? You will surely bring some of your favorite furniture and decorations with you, right?
Available in two versions, this mod provides answers to these questions, bringing a deeper immersion to the game.

🏠 Basic version
Contains the furniture available by default on a standard farm, rearranged to make room for a small kitchen in the rear left corner of the farmhouse. For aesthetics, I added an extra chair and a window. All furniture is moveable, so it’s no problem if our decorating tastes are different 😉
🛋️Comfortable version
This version offers a completely furnished and comfortable farmhouse, cleverly arranging the space to leave a place for a small kitchen in the top corner. All furniture is moveable, so it’s no problem if our decorating tastes are different 😉

⚠️ Important reminder
**Please only download one version of this mod**, otherwise both versions will not load!
📥 Installation Guide
- Download and install SMAPI and Content Patcher
- Download and unzip the mod file (choose the version you want)
- Copy the mod folder to the Stardew Valley/Mods directory
- Load the game using SMAPI and enjoy!
**This mod is safe for new and existing saves! **
- If you start a new game, it will provide the custom furniture shown in the pictures of this mod
- If you add the mod to an existing game, the furniture you already have will remain the same, with no other changes other than adding a kitchen in the upper left corner. The only problem that might arise is if you already have furniture in the upper left corner of the farmhouse, you can just pick it up and move it so as not to violate the rules of physics by overlapping it with the kitchen
🗑️ Uninstall method
- Delete the mods folder from the Stardew Valley/Mods folder. The game will revert to the original farmhouse layout
⚡ Possible mod conflicts
- This mod replaces the interior map of the starting farmhouse. Any other mods trying to do the same thing are not compatible with my mod
- It also replaces the furniture given to you at the start of the game, regardless of which farm type you choose. Any other mods trying to do the same thing are not compatible with my mod
Other than that, this mod should be conflict-free as it is a very basic Content Patcher mod. This mod will not interfere with any mods editing and upgrading farmhouses as long as other mods do not include a farmhouse.tmx replacement file.
🔮 Future Plans
If this mod generates enough interest again and enough people request it, I might be willing to develop it further and customize the furniture variety. For example, the original game gave you different furniture at the start of a new game based on the type of farm you chose. If enough people want this option, I could make a version of this mod for each farm type, with custom furniture for each type.
Also, if you need a zero furniture version to use with other mods that replace the starting furniture, please let me know and I will release a clean version without any furniture for you to use. The only problem that might arise is if another mod places any furniture in the upper left corner of the farmhouse, in which case you can just pick it up and move it so as not to violate the physics rules and overlap with the kitchen.

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
