🐸 Function introduction

Tired of your hungry frog eating the monster you're about to claim your loot? When farming dragon teeth, does your jumping friend always eat the lava lurker at the last minute? Now there is a solution! Frog filter!

FroggyFilter is a mod that allows you to configure exactly which monsters your hungry frog companions are allowed to eat.

⚙️ Installation requirements

  • Latest version of SMAPI
  • Just unzip to your mods folder and configure as needed
  • It is recommended to install GMCM (General Mod Configuration Menu) to easily edit configuration files in the game

🎮 How to use

Configuring with GMCM is very simple, just go through the list and check the monsters you want the frogs to eat, and uncheck the monsters you don't want the frogs to eat.

🔧 Compatibility Notes

  • Compatible with anything ContentPatcher is **reasonably** guaranteed to be compatible
  • Whenever a mod patches the game's monster data, it will be hooked
  • Custom spawns added via FTM are more difficult
  • Includes some monsters from SVE that are simply remakes of existing monsters from the base game

🎯 **Usage Suggestions**: It is recommended to install this module when starting a new game or encountering frog eating problems, which can greatly improve the game experience!

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)

  1. Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
  2. Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
  3. Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
  4. Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.

Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
