About this mod Machine translation

chubby thank you module
🎨 **Cute Chubby Shane based on Ash’s artwork**
✨ Module Features
- Replaced all of Shane's sprites and portraits with Chubby versions that more closely match the original art style
- Contains special sprites for Qiaojia Supermarket and winter
- The island sprites and sleeping sprites have been changed to shirtless versions.
- Perfectly integrated into the original art style of Stardew Valley
🎭 Creative inspiration
I recently returned to the world of Stardew Valley for two reasons:
- Friends invite me to play together
- I was deeply attracted by the fanart of Shane created by artist Ash.
While the game's dialogue hints that Shane is a bit chubby, it's not obvious enough in the sprites and portraits. This mod is designed to make up for this regret!
🛠️ Installation instructions
Since I am not very familiar with SMAPI module production, I adopt the traditional manual installation method:
- Extract the "Content" folder to a convenient location
- Back up all files containing Shane's name in the "Characters" and "Portraits" folders
- Copy and paste the folder into the Stardew Valley directory
- Steam version: `C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley`
- XBox App version: `C:\Program Files\ModifiableWindowsApps\Stardew Valley`
- GOG version: `C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Stardew Valley`
- Replace all files
- Done!
🔄 Uninstall method
Paste the backed up files directly, or verify the integrity of the game files to restore the original version.

💫 **Special Thanks**
Thanks to KhwanZG for the original mod as a base, and to Ash for the wonderful artwork!
Let’s make our gratitude more lovely and real! 🥰
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
