🚀 Installation Guide
- First download and install the original mod
- Open the original module folder and find the `i18n` directory
- Drag the French translation file downloaded from this page into the `i18n` folder
- Make sure the game is set to French on the title screen
- Check if there are other mods that conflict with the original mod

🌟 **Character Personalization**: Transform your two children into unique NPC characters, with their own personalities and interests!
**First Child**:
- 🐟 Love animals and fishing

🎨 Custom options
In order to give your child a unique portrait and sprite, you can download the corresponding resource pack in the "optional files" on the original module page. If not downloaded, the child will use the default toddler sprite.
⚠️ Notes
- The original mod is still in beta, and some dialogues or features may not yet be complete.
- Since the English version does not distinguish the gender of children in dialogue, the French translation defaults to the masculine form when a neutral expression cannot be used

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
