ExtendedLootTables
🎮 **Extended Loot Table** is a **Content Framework Mod** designed specifically for Stardew Valley modders, allowing you to easily add **custom monster drops** to your game without writing any SMAPI code!
✨ How it works
This mod uses **Harmony patch technology** to directly inject new drop rules into the game's original monster loot system. This means:
- 🛡️ **Original drops are completely retained** - Your modifications are just an expansion on this basis
- 🎯 **Json Assets custom items** can be naturally integrated into the drop system
- ⚡ **Automatically run drop logic** - Whenever a monster dies, the system will automatically execute it based on the drop probability you configured
🛠️ How to use
As a content creator, you only need three simple steps:
- **Create or reference custom items** (usually implemented through **Json Assets**)
- **Defined in a simple JSON file**:
- Which monsters can drop this item
- Drop probability of items
- **Place configuration file**:
- Place the `lootdrops.json` file in your mod folder, alongside the `manifest.json`
- ExtendedLootTables automatically detects and loads the configuration
🌟 **Easily expand your Stardew Valley adventure experience, adding more surprises and possibilities for every monster battle! **
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
