Get rid of that kitchen obstruction and meet your interior design needs!
emptykitchenmod
🎯 **Free your interior design creativity! **
✨ Module function
This mod is specially designed for players who are troubled by the original kitchen layout of Stardew Valley! Removing fixed furniture and floor tiles from the original kitchen allows you to:
- 🏠 **Free Placement** - Place refrigerators and cooking tables from other modules as you like
- 🎨 **Personalized Design** - Transform the kitchen into a PIF style pantry
- 🛏️ **Space Reorganization** - Transform the bedroom area into a tidy kitchen space
- 🏝️ **Full Coverage** - Supports first and second house upgrade versions, including post-wedding version, and Ginger Island Farmhouse!
🎮 Usage suggestions
The room remains its own entity so you can decorate it separately, separate from the living room area. You can place the furniture anywhere to make full use of the space~
⚠️ Important reminder
**Please be sure to empty your refrigerator before installing this mod! **
Otherwise you will lose everything in your default kitchen storage, not even the convenience box can get it back. It is recommended to remove all items within one game day before saving the game, then install the mod and restart SMAPI.
You should have no problem starting a new game, but don't forget to add the kitchen/cooking mod to continue cooking elsewhere! (It is recommended to use Kisaa’s buildable cozy country kitchen, but of course you can also choose other modules or make your own!)

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
