Replaced moss on trees with little ladybugs and moss items with moss leaves
Em's Moss
🌿 **A visual beautification module that makes Stardew Valley more vibrant**
✨ Module Features
Replace the moss covering your trees with cute little ladybugs or mushroom bushes! As you collect moss, the little ladybugs will fly away, leaving behind a tiny moss leaf as a resource.
🐞 Seasonal changes
This mod features unique "moss" versions for each season:
- **Spring** 🌸 - **yellow** ladybugs will appear on the trees when the moss grows
- **Summer** ☀️ - **red** ladybugs appear on trees when moss grows
- **Autumn** 🍂 - **Mushrooms** will grow on the trees when moss grows.
- **Winter** ❄️ - Trees do not produce moss
🎮 Instructions for use
Now you have a choice: let the cute little ladybugs continue to enjoy their moss meal, or collect resources when needed! As you collect moss, the ladybugs will fly away, leaving you with a moss leaf in return. There may be little holes in the leaves from where it chewed, but the moss around the edges will still be intact!
**NOTE**: The sprite does not include Green Rain trees, as it seems more appropriate to keep those trees a little spooky.

*Update 1.1 now includes Moss Leaves as a Moss resource item*
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
