⚙️ Configuration instructions
To use this add-on, you need to set Flower Queen Crown (FQC) to "true" in the DSV core configuration.
**Recommended configuration:**
- Install the General Module Configuration Menu (GMCM)
- GMCM will add a small gear button in the lower left corner of the Stardew Valley title screen
- Easily edit configuration options through an intuitive interface
DSV Core also offers the option of FQC Immersion Mode, which restricts custom NPCs from becoming queens until at least the second year. DSV FQC - ARV compatible immersion mode, works whether set to true or false.

🎨 Creator Resources
This pack can be used as a sample template for other custom NPCs to be added as Queen candidates. Anyone is welcome to create their own add-on package, as long as:
- With permission from original character author
- Proper credit to the original character author and the DSV team
- Disable donation points or donate them to charity
In the Optional Files section of this page, a copy of the Flower Queen's Crown portrait and sprite with a transparent background are provided as templates for modders to modify as needed to fit their characters. The design of the crown should be consistent.

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
