About this mod Machine translation
Desaturate all Stardew Valley expansion assets.
Desaturated SVE
🎨 **Bringing a soft visual experience to the Stardew Valley expansion**
✨ Core Functions
This mod uniformly desaturates all Stardew Valley expansion assets, creating a softer visual effect and better compatibility with popular recolor mods.
From character portraits to items, from maps to various resources, everything has been desaturated!
---
🔧 Compatibility Notes
- Compatible with all mods, including large expansion packs
- Other modules that edit SVE resources will take precedence over this module
- You can mix and match freely
Think of this mod as a complement to what other recoloring mods don't cover!
---
⚙️ Configuration options
Version 1.0.3 is compatible with the general module configuration menu. You can:
- Turn desaturation on/off for individual character sprites or portraits
- Separate settings for broad categories such as furniture, crops/gatherings, etc.
- All options are turned on by default
---
🎯 Design Concept
This mod was made specifically to match Herbivoor's universal recoloring (an important preset), and it is highly recommended to use both mods at the same time!

🐛 Question feedback
There are currently no known issues, but if you encounter any, please leave a message in the comments section. Please be patient with me, this is my first mod 😊

🙏 Special thanks
- **Herbivoor** - Made the universal recolor and allowed me to make derivative mods
- **FlashShifter** - Created the Stardew Valley expansion
- **Krobus Discord Server** - great resource community
- **ConcernedApe** - Of course, thanks to the original author of the game!
🌟 Enjoy a softer, more harmonious Stardew Valley experience!
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
