⚠️ Important note: About version 1.6
The latest update allows the mod to work again in the latest versions of Stardew Valley and SMAPI.
**However:** Several new features of the game have not been tested or do not work properly. Therefore the mod is currently released in alpha version. **Please back up your saves! ** If you want a stable and refined experience, please do not use this mod at this time.
**Known Issues:**
- Forest exploration function is normal, but there is a problem with balance
- Fruit trees are disabled
- Minecarts and obelisks are not working
- The forest will not generate any new content
- Using a tent will cause the game to crash
I will continue to update the mod and keep you posted on the progress. Thank you very much for your support!

🎮What is the deep forest?
In simple terms: similar to a mine, but with wood instead of stone as the main renewable resource. I call it **Deep Forest** because it's huge and there's a lot to discover.
This is also a **danger** place designed to enhance the late game experience. If you're still early in the game, **Don't try to explore the forest**. You have been warned!

There is plenty of wood and hardwood even on the lower level. The forest occasionally has flowers and fruit trees that grow out of season. More difficult monsters drop valuable loot. Deeper you'll find riches and special benefits.

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
