Custom Museum Framework (CMF)
🎨 **Custom Museum Framework (CMF)** allows you to create your own version of the museum. Unlike the original museum run by Gunther, CMF offers **tremendous** flexibility in almost every aspect.
✨ Core Functions
- Customize almost every museum-related feature
- Curate collection exhibitions according to personal preferences
- No need to limit yourself to a one-to-one replica of the original museum
- Supports customizing lost books (also considered a custom library framework)
🎯 Instructions for use
**For players:**
- This mod itself does not provide any functionality
- Only needs to be installed if other mods require it
**For modders:**
- Check out the full documentation to learn how to create a custom museum
- Refer to the example museum in the miscellaneous files
🔧 Installation Guide
- Install the latest version of SMAPI
- Unzip the module to the Stardew Valley/Mods folder
- Run the game using SMAPI

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
