📖 Core functions

Grandpa’s affectionate letter

**"Love from Grandpa"** is an event mod that allows your farmer to read the letters that Grandpa prepared before his death. The letters are tied to specific milestones and achievements in the game, and each letter is presented through a series of cutscenes, as if Grandpa is talking to you personally.

💌 **Letter Features:**

• Closely linked to game progress
• Provide guidance and encouragement
• Show grandpa's trust in you
• Can be read repeatedly in Collections (letters) tab

🎯 Trigger conditions

• Triggered after completing specific game milestones
• Activate upon return to the farmhouse at **7pm or later** (non-festival days)
• Choose to read now or read later
• Letters remain accessible until you choose to read them

🎮 Game experience

Progressive content unlocking

This is a milestone-focused event mod that progressively unlocks cutscenes as you progress through the game. It is recommended to play on a new save for the full experience, but saves from mid to late game are also supported.

• 5 achievement related events
• 2 additional entrance events
• Unique cutscenes
• Additional dialogue after completion of Community Center

⚠️ Instructions for use

**For new save players:**

• The first event will not trigger for at least 14 game days
• It is recommended to install manually to the Mods folder

**For mid to late game players:**

• The mod is coded to ensure that events do not trigger consecutively on the same night
• Option to save letters to read later

System requirements

• **Content Patcher 2.7.0 or higher**
• Compatible with SVE, RSV and other expansion modules
• Conflicts may only occur when using mods that significantly change Grandpa's story

Event not triggered?

If you've reached a specific milestone but don't see events, it could be because:

-Mod design spreads cutscenes to different nights

• Make sure you return to the farmhouse after 7pm on an eligible night

-Events will eventually be triggered, please wait patiently

Mobile device compatibility?

Not tested on mobile devices, but mobile mod developers can check.
