This mod contains over 100 pieces of dialogue about marriage, revealing Harvey's caring nature as a spouse and a pillar of Pelican Town. Harvey Cares attempts to make him more complete and in line with the qualities players value most about him (plus bonuses).

🔧 Installation instructions
- Install SMAPI and Content Patcher (this module requires Content Patcher 2.7.0 or higher)
- Download the module from the module author page and extract it to the mods folder
- Download the module translation on this page, unzip the archive and transfer it to your mods folder
- Click "Replace files in destination folder"
- Done! Now you can start the game
🤝 Compatibility information
This mod is compatible with the following mods:
- "Harvey Attends Aerobics" - When installed some of Harvey's comments will be adjusted to his new schedule
- "Shy Harvey" and "Plus Alive Harvey" - "random" values can be set via GMCM or manually editing config.json to balance dialogue display
- "Canon Friendly Dialogue Expansion" - can set "random" configuration values for 'CFE_Harvey', allowing both mods to coexist
💡 **Tip**: If the dialog mod edits the same key (such as "spring_1"), setting a "random" value can help balance the situation so that both sets of strings have an equal chance of appearing.
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
