✨ **Another wonderful remake of the mailbox event! ** This mod makes the 2-heart incident between George and Penny more realistic and natural.
🎭 Character Reshaping
Instead of miserably asking how to get the letter out, **George** now complains about the letter being stuck in the back (mentioning at the end of the episode that he should stop forgetting to bring the finder). He was struggling to get the letter out when Penny approached, which made Penny think she should help.
It took **Penny** some time to understand what had gone wrong, and at first she was just sad that her well-intentioned efforts were not appreciated.
🎮 Player Choice
As a farmer, you have the following options:
- **Treat Penny Gentle**: Make Penny feel better while generally supporting George
- **Treat Penny Harsh**: Makes her more depressed, but puts George in a slightly better mood
- **Stay Out**: Not involved in their disputes
🤝 Reconciliation Process
After Penny apologizes, George finally calms down and admits that she was just trying to help, but he neither apologizes to her (because he's not wrong) nor thanks her (because he's grumpy and doesn't like to be reminded of his limitations and how others view him).
Penny continues to feel bad about what happened because she is essentially an empathetic, kind young woman who takes the entire situation very seriously.

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
