🛠️ Guidelines for Mod Authors
Modders, please check out the Author Guidelines for complete documentation! You only need to edit through the Content Patcher to take advantage of all the features of this mod!
✨ Available features
- **Repeatable Conversation Topic**: Marks the conversation topic (and its memory) as repeatable and automatically resets after each expiration
- **Default Dialogue Lines**: Allow multiple NPCs to share a theme's default dialogue lines, with conditions specifying who can use these default dialogue lines and when.
- **Batch matching**: Able to match multiple conversation topics at once to avoid duplication of code
- **INSTANT TRIGGER**: Instantly re-mark the conversation topic as repeatable by triggering an action
🎯 Usage example
- Mark all topics starting with your mod's unique ID as repeatable after each expiration
- Create default dialogue lines that any NPC can use under a specific dialogue topic, but only on rainy days
- Create default dialogue lines that are only used when the NPC name is included in the dialogue topic key (e.g. Sam only responds to "myTopic_Sam" but not "myTopic_Pierre")
- Use new trigger actions to create themes that can only be repeated once per season

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
