Convenient inventory

🎮 **Say goodbye to tedious inventory management! **

Inventory management is one of the most tedious parts of any game, and this is especially true in Stardew Valley. Every day, whether you're harvesting produce, mining rewards, or freshly caught fish, you'll need to empty your backpack to deposit items into chests on your farm. This process quickly becomes tiresomely familiar: *open box, store items, close box, open box, store items, close box...* and so on.

💫 **Imagine this**: You can *instantly* store everything taking up space in your backpack while keeping the important items!

✨ Feature Highlights

🚀 Quickly stack to nearby boxes

Clicking the new "Quick Stack to Nearby Chest" button in the player inventory interface (or pressing the Quick Stack hotkey, if enabled) will quickly deposit an item from your inventory into any nearby chest containing that item.

⭐ Collection Items

Hold down the collection hotkey (default is *Left Alt* key, or *Left shoulder button* on a controller) and select an item in the player's inventory to collect it.

Collectible items will prevent:

  • Stacked quickly
  • discarded
  • dropped
  • Be shipped
  • Considered when using the "Organize" button in the player's inventory
  • Considered when using the "Add to existing stack" button in chests

🎮 Inventory page side jump (from version 1.3.0)

For players using a controller, getting to the right side of the inventory menu is cumbersome because the cursor always starts in the leftmost item slot when opening the inventory. This feature allows the cursor to "jump" to the other side when it is at either end of the menu.

📦 Take them all but leave one (from version 1.5.0)

While holding down the "Take All But One" hotkey (default Left Ctrl + Left Shift, or Left Trigger on a controller), right-clicking on an item stack (or pressing the

🗃️ Automatically organize boxes (from version 1.5.0)

Right-click the Organize button in the box menu (or press the *X* key on the controller) to toggle automatic sorting mode for that box. When a chest is auto-organized, all of its contents will remain organized even if new items are added (including Quick Stacking).

  • Some mods directly modify player inventory sizes, causing compatibility issues and/or leaving extra empty items when uninstalled; this command should fix these issues
  • **convinv_clearmoddata**: Clears all mod data set by the convenience inventory for the currently loaded archive; other mod data will not be removed. Changes to the save file will take effect the next time you save the game
  • This command is for players who wish to remove any handy inventory mod data from their save file for a clean uninstall

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)

  1. Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
  2. Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
  3. Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
  4. Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.

Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
