- **Sophia** (spouse): a bright future - *increases maximum energy*
- **Victor** (spouse): Labor Alliance - *Increases defense*
⚙️ Gain configuration
You can configure the gain strength to your liking:
- **Slight**: +1 to all attributes except maximum energy, +20 to maximum energy
- **Default**: All attributes +3 except maximum energy, maximum energy +35
- **Powerful**: All attributes except maximum energy +5, maximum energy +75

- Extract the `[CP] Better Together - SVE Spouse Buffs` folder to your mods folder
- **Requires Stardew Valley Extension (SVE) to work properly**

⚠️ Notes
- **Polygamy mod compatibility**: This mod has not been fully tested in polygamy mods such as Free Love, and there may be compatibility issues
- **Buff Display Limitation**: Stardew Valley can display up to 4 buff icons at the same time. This is a limitation of the game itself.
- **Official Spouse Recognition**: This mod cannot recognize "official" or "active" spouse status, and the buff effect is based on the actual relationship

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
