Better item classification for #Vegas

🎮 **Make the item classification in Stardew Valley more reasonable and consistent! **

🌟Module introduction

I've always found the item classification in Stardew Valley to be inconsistent and confusing. Why is a leek a foraged item when it is actually a vegetable? Why is fiddlehead fern a vegetable, but it can only be found but not grown? Why are grapes classified as a fruit when they can be both foraged and grown? Why are red mushrooms edible but poisoning you? Why is the elixir of life a drink but requires making, coffee a drink but produced in a keg, and cranberry candies a drink but requiring cooking?

Also, why do so many items show no category information at all? Some items designed specifically for crafting or building are resources (like copper ingots), but other items are nothing at all (like dragon teeth). Many cooking ingredients (such as sugar, oil, and vinegar) are not labeled to indicate that they are "cooking resources." And it's weird that they're edible - who drinks vinegar and then eats a handful of wheat flour? Slime Eggs drop from slimes but are not monster loot, but Slime Slime is. Why are the Ginger Island fossils/artifacts not labeled like the Fingil fossils/artifacts?

These issues make inventory organization and management difficult, especially for new players who are unsure whether something should be kept, saved for crafting, saved for cooking, sold, eaten, or given away.

**Better Item Sorting** aims to solve all of these problems!

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)

  1. Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
  2. Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
  3. Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
  4. Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.

Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
