Better Elevator
🎮 Features
This mod completely changes the way you move around the mines and skull caves! ✨ Now you can use stairs just like an elevator, but even better - you can directly enter the specific floor you want to go to!
🎯 How to use
Hold down the **Left Shift key** (configurable) while clicking:
- Main staircase in the mine floor
- Door to Skull Cave
- Stairs at the mine entrance
Then a small menu will pop up, and you can enter the floor number you want to go to via the keyboard. Press the **Enter key** to teleport to the specified floor, and press the **Backspace key** to delete the number.
⚙️ Configuration options
By default, the module restricts you to teleporting to floors you have already visited, but you can remove this restriction through the configuration menu to achieve truly free teleportation!
🛠️Technical Information
- SMAPI needs to be installed
- Use Harmony framework
- Compatible with Mod Updater for automatic updates
- Supports universal module configuration menu, and settings can be modified directly in the game

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
