🎮 Notes to Players
If you were directed to this page, it's most likely because a mod has AToMS as a dependency. **Downloading this mod alone will have no effect**! It needs to be used with other mods to work.
🛠️ Mod Developer
Feel free to add AToMS as a dependency and use it to build your maps!
If you would like AToMS to provide custom cave grass in your mod location (as I think this still needs to be done on the AToMS side) please leave a message in the comments section.

📖Mod background
Initially I just wanted to get some new resources while developing Waterfall Forest Farm, but as it grew in size I decided to release it as a standalone mod for everyone to use. This is an ongoing development project and more tile sets will be added in the future.
🎨 Current tile set
- **Exterior Floor Tile Set**: Add a variety of flooring, tiles or natural stone, and new ways to use dark grass
- **Water themed tile set**: specially designed for beach and water effects
- **Foliage & Shadows Tile Set**: Adds new regular leaves, dead/cave leaves and vines, transparent shadows that can be used under vegetation
- **Random External Resource Tile Sets**: Currently mainly barrels and bridges
- **Cave Tile Set**: Currently includes waterfalls, underground meadows and railway systems
- **Random Internal Resource Tile Sets**: Currently mostly barrels and a few extra items
🔮 Future Plans
- **Dedicated Underwater Tile Set**
🎨Supported recoloring mods
- Blue Grass Recolor
- Cotton Candy Recolor
- Earthy Recolour
- Mild Winter
- Starblue Valley
- Universal Recolors
- Vibrant Pastoral
- Wittily Named Recolor
**NOTE**: I only support **recolor mods** that have been updated to SV1.6. Adding support would require a lot of work and there is currently no time to focus on SV1.5 mods.
⚙️ Configuration file options
Recoloring support
- **Enable recolor support**: Allows tilesets to change colors to suit specific recolor mods
- **Use Optional Colors**: Allows the use of seasonal optional colors provided by some recolor mods
Manually select recolor
- **Manual Override**: disables auto-detection and requires selecting the recolor mod from the list
- Supports Blue Grass, Earthy Recolour, Starblue Valley, Vibrant Pastoral, Wittily Named Recolor, etc.
Advanced recolor settings
- **Cotton Candy Recolor**: Customizable grass and soil colors in spring, summer and autumn, snow color in winter
- **Universal Recolors**: Adjustable desaturation and hue intensity
Additional options
- **Mild Winter**: Force the use of Mild Winter compatible tiles during winter (priority over other recolors)
- **Green Cave Vegetation**: Turns all non-frozen cave vegetation green, making vines brighter
- **Custom Cave Grass**: Ensures compatible mods use custom colors for grass growing inside caves
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
