Replacement texture for a dog commissioned by a friend!
(AT) Dachshund - Cherry 🐕
✨ Module introduction
Requested by a friend, I brought her adorable dachshund into the world of Stardew Valley! This little guy named Cherry is a super cute dachshund ❤️
After getting permission from my friends, I decided to share this texture with everyone so that more people can have lovely cherries in their own games!
---
🎮 How to use
- Buy scissors from Robin
- Interact with any dog with scissors in hand and wow! You will have your own lovely cherry
---
📥 Installation Guide
**Requirements:**
- Make sure you have the latest versions of SMAPI (Stardew Valley Mod API) and AT (Alternate Textures) framework installed
**Installation steps:**
- Download and install this module
- Unzip the "Dachshund-Cherry" folder
- Place it in your mod folder (can be placed in subfolders for easier organization)
---
💡 Notes
- If you encounter any bugs or issues, please feel free to let me know!
- This is my first time trying to make a mod like this and it’s so fun to watch my friend’s dog come to life in pixel form ❤️
- Since Cherry is much smaller than the original dog, hat compatibility is not currently supported (if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know!)

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
