🍃 **Add a touch of challenge to your Stardew Valley life! ** This module allows you to configure food allergies for farmers and experience a different farm life.
🌟 Module Features
- **Custom Allergy Configuration**: select or randomly generate allergens
- **True Allergic Reaction**: Eating food you are allergic to will cause you to lose energy and gain negative statuses
- **Medical System**: Harvey Clinic offers allergy medication to relieve symptoms
- **NPC Interaction**: There will be special reactions when talking to NPC when allergic
- **Email System**: Learn more about allergies through email
🎮 Gameplay
Once allergies are configured, be careful to avoid foods containing allergens! If consumed accidentally, you will face energy loss and annoying allergic reaction debuffs.
**Don’t worry**, Harvey’s Clinic has allergy medications to help!
Allergy medicines can provide immediate relief from allergy symptoms. If you have a dairy allergy but want to enjoy cheese temporarily, you can take lactase pills!
⚙️ Set allergies
Allergy settings can be accessed by opening your inventory in game and switching to the new sidebar tab on the Skills page. You can choose specific allergens, or randomly generate some and discover them slowly during the game!
**Note**: If using custom skill mods, the allergy label may not display due to compatibility issues. You can instead open a separate allergy menu (default key L, configurable) to set allergies.

- Install SMAPI
- Install this module (including the Content Patcher package and C# part, make sure both folders are correctly extracted to the Mods folder)
- Install Content Patcher
- Install SpaceCore
- (Optional) Install the Generic Mod Config Menu to easily configure mods in the game
- (Optional) Install Special Power Utilities to add ability tags to custom skill books
- (Optional) Install Better Game Menu and enable the "My Allergies" tab in the game pause menu
- Launch Stardew Valley via SMAPI
- Configure some allergies and enjoy the challenge!

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
