Harvey is so ugly so I made this mod, obviously not favoring the other bachelors

💫 **Give Stardew Valley’s most unpopular bachelor a new look! **

Reason for creation

I really can't stand Harvey who looks like a hamster. Although there are many fanarts on the Internet that beautify him, the original image in the game is really ugly! 😫 In order to deal with the unfortunate existence of Harvey, I made this mod to make him more charming and handsome.

Interestingly, during the production process I discovered brand new cutscenes and dialogue that I had never seen in 6 years of playing - this is proof of how much I hate him!

Module Features

✨ **NEW PORTRAIT** - A complete redraw of Harvey's portrait, transforming him from hamster to handsome boy

✨ **KEEP COMPATIBLE** - Does not affect the appearance of other characters

✨ **Fresh Experience** - May make you rediscover Harvey's plot line

Installation instructions

  • Make sure SMAPI and Content Patcher are installed
  • Unzip the file into the mods folder

⚠️ **Note**

  • Not compatible with other portrait mods that also modify Harvey's sprites (such as seasonal clothing)
  • This is my second module, please leave a message if there are any bugs.

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)

  1. Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
  2. Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
  3. Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
  4. Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.

Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
