So I decided to do something horse related.

This mod replaces the riding animation with sideaddle, which is a ladies' way of riding.

Subtle changes provide you with more immersion and help you perform better.

Sidesaddle makes your female character look elegant.

Covers most horse riding animations. Idle, walk, trot, run, sprint, jump, swim, rear, load and dismount.

Down:

Installed battles are not included. Sidesaddle is not suitable for combat.

All NPCs do the same animation. But it is rare to see NPCs riding horses.

Installation I highly recommend you to install using MO/BAIN/NMM/Vortex.

Make sure to run Fnis after installation!

If you selected the "Female Only" version in the installer, you must also run Fnis-Genderpatch!

[MO, NMM and Vortex users]

Activate and follow the instructions of the installation wizard.

[BAIN USER]

Open the Installer tab, right-click, select Wizards, and follow the installation wizard's instructions.

Open the archive, select a folder, rename it to "data", then copy the "data" folder to the "Skyrim" directory.

Each hkx file should be placed in "Skyrim/data/meshes/actors/character/animations/horse_rider/",

But only "paired_mount.hkx" and "paired_dismount.hkx" should be placed in "Skyrim/data/meshes/sharedkillmoves/human&horse/" because these two are paired animations.

There is no esp, no scripts, and no havok behavior when uninstalling this mod, so your save files will never be dirty.

You can uninstall it at any time.

[MO, NMM and Vortex users]

Just deactivate this mod.

[BAIN USER]

Open the installer tab, right-click and select "Uninstall".

Delete the files you installed.

Known issues [Key issues]

No. I did the test for an hour. There is no critical issue like CTD.

Although this is the first mod to replace/modify the horse riding animation, I think. Unexpected problems may occur.

If you notice strange behavior, please report it on the forum. Showing pictures or videos would be greatly appreciated.

[Small question]

• All NPCs do the same animation. In short, the male character rides alongside as well.

If you think this will immerse you, don't install this mod.

Alternatively, there is a solution to separate most animations into male and female. Check out the FNIS page.

• If you apply FNIS's "Gender Specific Animation" option to this mod, you will occasionally see T-poses on horses.

This seems very random to me. I don't know how to solve it.

• There is 1 frame jitter in the transition between mounted and idle, also idle and unmounted.
