About this mod Machine translation

This is a replacement for your character and NPC. Now ported to SE.

WSCO is now available for SE

I have always been a big fan of WSCO on the oldrim,

Most, if not all, of my characters are created using this mod.

Sadly for SE, the original creator of the mod will only upload WICO, which is the successor to this mod.

While that mod is certainly impressive, I personally prefer the old textures. So I took the liberty

Ported them to myself for my own version of SE. After that, some of my friends showed interest.

So after contacting the mods creator and getting permission to upload the files to, here we are

What does the mod do?

In short, it changes and enhances the textures of the player character and all NPCs. it focuses on

Make these characters look prettier, but still friendly.

but in more detail

WindsongHS, the original creator of this mod. Two mods were created for oldrim. WSCO and WICO

WSCO is an early version of his mod that is an absolutely user-friendly replacement for facial textures for players and all NPCs.

WICO is a new revamped version of the mod that serves as a complete overhaul and features new textures for the face and body.

But currently, only WICO has been officially ported to SE.

This is my attempt to port the old WSCO as I personally prefer its textures.

What's the difference?

The original mod offers options such as two different texture styles. A rougher variant and a cleaner variant.

So far I've only ported the cruder variant because it's the one I've used and the most popular.

How do I install the mod?

Take everything out of the folder and copy it to the data folder, or just install it using the mod manager.

What does the mod do?

Simply put, it changes and enhances the textures of the player character and all NPC's. It focuses heavily on

making these characters look prettier, yet still lore friendly.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
