About this mod Machine translation
Added restoration spells and healer NPCs to heal wounds added by IronDusk33's wounds module. Also included are small patches for Wounds, Huntborn and Bonfire.
I'm a big fan of the Wounds mod added by IronDusk33, so I decided to make this little add-on. Thanks for checking it out.
what it can do
Spells and Healer Profiles Adds a healer NPC to every temple in Skyrim and an NPC to the temple in Raven Rock who can heal any wound for a fee. They also sell potions for healing wounds, as well as a pair of level health potions, bandages, needles and thread, and medicinal alcohol. Contains MCM menu that allows you to change treatment prices. (Note: If you change the MCM's healing price while in the Sanctuary, you will need to leave and re-enter the Sanctuary and talk to the healer again.) The master file also adds restoration spells that players can use to instantly heal wounds, and some pain management spells that work similarly to Laudano, but without the "strain" effect. Spellbooks teaching spells can be purchased from the Court Wizard or Colette Marence at Winterhold Academy.
A spell file with only the ESL flag will add the same spell, but will not provide a healer. This file is not needed if using spell and healer files - it's just a lighter, scriptless option for those who don't want to use a scripted mod or have more ESP in their load order.
Patch files for Hunterborn and Campfire allow players to create bandages or stitches anywhere without having to hunt around for a tanning rack via Hunterborn's Scrimshaw feature and Campfire's Create Item feature. Also, needles can now be crafted from bones, antlers, mammoth teeth, and saber cat teeth in the Scrimshaw menu. Useful for players who don't carry hundreds of locks with them at all times. Place the Bone Needle into Scrimshaw or Create Item along with 5 types of Tundra Cotton to get Needle and Thread. In addition to firewood, branches and dead wood can be used to pinch off broken limbs. This file requires Hunterborn and Campfire.
compatibility
If using other mods that add new restoration spells, patching is recommended. May conflict with mods that heavily alter temple interiors. Other than that, this mod should be compatible with everything.
Installing
Install using a Mod Manager such as Vortex or MO2. Wounds.esp is loaded afterwards. The main file and spell-only files will add spell tomes to certain leveled lists, so if another spell mod you are using can do this, it is recommended to use a patch to ensure all mod spells are available from the spell vendor.
Uninstall
If you don't like a new mod, it's best to create a backup save before installing the mod and then restore to that save, but if you don't like the new mod, following these steps should make it safer:
To uninstall spell and healer files:
- Go somewhere that is not a temple* and use the MCM option to remove any recovery spells players may know about my mod.
- If the "Sooth the Pain" spell has any effect on the player, please wait for it to disappear.
- Create a new save and exit the game.
- Use your module manager to uninstall the module.
- Run the game again and create another new save.
*Importantly, do not proceed with the uninstall process while your character is inside the temple! This mod adds a script that runs when the player enters the temple and stops when the player exits.
There is no MCM for spell-only files, so it is recommended that you use the console to manually remove the spell and save it before using the mod manager to remove the mod.
The patch file may be uninstallable at any time, but it may be a good idea to get rid of any bone needles in your inventory using the console or by turning them into needle threads.

What It Does
The spells and healers file adds …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
