Wookiee’s ultra-minimalist ENB for cathedral weather
This was my early attempt at using Cathedral Weather's ENB setup until a better way came along, using only the features I felt were essential. Distant and detailed shadows, degrees of freedom, subsurface scattering and sky lighting. No effect on weather or distant fog.

About this mod Machine translation
This was my early attempt at using Cathedral Weather's ENB setup until a better way came along, using only the features I felt were essential. Distant and detailed shadows, degrees of freedom, subsurface scattering and sky lighting. No effect on weather or distant fog.
***BUG WARNING***
I don't know if it's something else in my load order or what, but after about an hour of playback, my skybox became... detached from the world and stuck to my camera. It's hard to explain, but the sky texture ends up moving with my FOV. If you encounter this error with this ENB configuration, please let me know if you don't mind sending me the order in PM so I can see what we have in common. TIA.
***End of Warning***
Following the example set up by reddit user skepmanmods, here is my personal take on the marble weather and season friendly ENB presets. I made some adjustments to my liking, like extending the days and the duration of sunrise and sunset, and making the water more transparent. But for the most part, this is a "fruit bone" enb preset with minimal features enabled. The most important thing about this preset is that it doesn't remove the distant fog layer needed for the cathedral's horizon fade effect, while still making the modified NPCs and lights look nice.
Install:
- Download the latest ENB binaries.
- Copy only the following files to the Skyrim Special Edition directory:
d3d11.dll
d3dcompiler_46e.dll
enblocal.ini
- Download the enbseries.ini file from this page and extract it to the Skyrim Special Edition directory.
- Launch the game and enjoy!

Following the example set by reddit user skepmanmods, this is my personal take on a Cathedral Weathers and Seasons friendly ENB preset. I made a few tweaks according to my own preference, like lengthening days and the duration of sunrise and sunset, and making water more transparent. But for the most part this is a "bare bones" enb preset with minimum features enabled. The most important thing about this preset is that it does not remove the distant fog layer required for Cathedral's horizon fade effect, while still making modded NPCs and lights look beautiful.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
