About this mod Machine translation
A warm re-shade that adds a subtle tan/yellow touch to your game that complements the softness of Vanilla Skyrim. Including the optional bloomless version will return a few fps.
The reason I made this is because I tried many ENB and Re Shades and I found myself missing the vanilla flavor of Skyrim, this Re-Shade tries to expand on what I think vanilla is better than ENB.
I built this Re Shade in my currently installed game
-Vivid Weathers Definitive edition(
- Realistic lighting overhaul (
Without these mods, Re-shade should produce nearly the same results, although I haven't tested it yet.
-Install-
- Download and install Re-Shade
- Run "ReShade_Setup_4.1.1" and select "SkyrimSE" in "\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition"
Click on dx10+ and select yes to download fx from github, all boxes should have been checked, press OK
- Download this Mod manually. Open the .rar file from the manual download and copy the 2 files in the folder directly to your
“\ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Skyrim Special Edition”
- After launching Skyrim, open the Re-Shade menu and select "Wolf's ReShade" or the optional -nobloom version (will get ~2 fps)
Open Re-Shade in the game and press "shift + F2"
(If it doesn't turn on for some of you when you press "home" - laptop players may need to hold down the "shift + F2" keys while holding down the "fn" key.
If it still doesn't open try closing all other apps, Re-Shade will show the default when launching Skyrim Watch in the upper left corner
Re-Shade button, but it's very fast, so watch carefully. )
-notes-
This mod adds some extra ambient light, as well as warm sepia tones, Gaussian blur, low bloom and HDR without darkening the interior.
Combined with "C. natural view tamriel ENB -vivid" it also looks very good (one of the lowest performing ENBs I've ever used)
I'm running a GTX 970 4gb, intel i-5 8600k, 16GB ddr4 ram, this Preset dropped ~8-9 FPS in the heavy area, it runs the same as the "real Shayrim of Skyrim v3"
In the example photo of "ENB on", enb is enabled in both the left and right images, the only difference is my rescaling
Q: Why is it not obvious that this Re-Shade makes such a small change?
A: There are many recolors that can cause dramatic changes, this change should be subtle
Q: What mods did you use in the screenshots?
A. vivid weather

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
