---Notes from the person who ported this to SE----
Thjis Mod was not created by me but by Hypno88.
1.- If you have no meat on your inventory, the little wolf will not give you the chat option.
2.- In MCM you must choose the growth rate before talking to the wolf, otherwise it will not work.
3.- Regarding MCM, please do not try to use the option to name the wolf

Location - Find him in a clearing in the woods at the foot of the hill near the south gate of Riverwood, sniffing around the body of his recently deceased mother (poor guy). You will need to give him some meat to entice him to follow you.
Growth - By default, wolves will grow through a stage every seven days. This effectively means that his health and damage are increased by 0.1 (he starts at 0.6 from a vanilla adult wolf for both stats), and his model grows proportionally by 0.1 (he starts at 0.3 from a vanilla wolf). The sixth stage is the mesh swap (he starts with the "Puppy" mesh, then the "Teen" mesh, and finally the vanilla adult mesh). If you leave him at home, no matter
Hunger - Every day or so, the wolf gets hungry. You need to feed him some meat (via dialogue) in order to feed him. Text in the upper left corner will notify you that he is hungry. By default, the time between notifications is 2 minutes, and the time it takes for the wolf to starve again is calculated by taking a configurable static number (default is 15) and then adding a random number between 1 and 10. Each day he is left hungry, he will suffer increasingly severe harmful effects by the seventh day after death. If you use the undo dialogue option to leave him at home, the system will shut down until you "rent" him again, but if you use the "wait" dialogue to leave him somewhere and don't go back, then he will die (i havn not tested it yet).
Naming - With the genius of TaichiKid, you can name your wolf however you like. When you first hire him, a menu will pop up asking you if you want to name him. When you click Yes, the console will open. During this time, your keystrokes are tracked. Only single keys are recognized, so you can't hold a button to get multiple letters (even if the console displays otherwise). Once finished, press Enter or the console button to continue. (Currently not working, disabled)
Commands - As the wolf grows, you receive some special commands (lesser powers):
Set up your new home: Designate the spot where you will stand as your wolf home. This will be where he comes back to when you fire him through dialogue.
Wander/Heel: Toggles whether your wolf wanders or remains stationary while following you. Once he reaches the Teen stage, a third option, Wander Far, becomes available (the entire feature is currently disabled since I couldn't successfully sandbox him)
Come back to me: Teleport the wolf to you. To maintain the immersive feeling, he appears behind you and walks towards you
Attack: Your wolf will attack anything in the crosshair (unlocked when your wolf is a Teen)
Retrieve Kill: Aim power at …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
