Simple addon that removes the Sorcery armor set from the forge menu and impressively integrates it into Skyrim

This is a simple add-on that was born out of a learning experience while I was trying to figure out how to create new recipes for Atronach Forge.

Do this. Additionally, I've equipped an advanced version of the Witchplate armor to a named mage, which you really can't miss if you're playing the main quest. The smaller version comes with the evil Rouge paired with Daedra.

It's possible that these NPCs may now pose a significant threat to your life and, dare I say it, it upsets the balance of the game. Taking this armor for yourself will be an achievement worth the risk.

Armor cannot be crafted at all. Once your honing ability is sufficient, it can be exercised.

There may be some very minor incompatibilities, as I've modified the level list containing atronach's fake recipients, as well as two lists named NPCs. However, nothing can be fixed using merges or base patches.

All thanks to Telthalion for creating the original Witchplate setup and making it open source. To Lautasantenni, who created an older MKII version of the mod and left it as an open source to myself, KitWitIssues further edited the idea and re-incorporated it into the game.

All necessary meshes and textures are included in this download. If using the original Witchplate mod, this mod will overwrite it, including assets and .esp. It is safe to rename .esp so that it does not. This is compatible with Immersive Armors, but if the IA version of the Witchplate set is active, you will see this and that version in the game. This one has sleeves.

I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea. There are other versions of armor elsewhere on this armor that protect the armor. Also, I made this for myself and it's pretty simple, so I'm not going to do anything else to it or give it a lot of attention in the way of support. It works as expected and I think there are others among us who would prefer this version of the mod over the forge feed version.

That's it. cheers

This is a simple plugin that came about as a result of a learning experience, while I was trying to figure out how to create new recipes for the Atronach Forge.

This does that. Furthermore, I've equipped the advanced version of the Witchplate armor to a named mage you literally can't miss if you're playing the main side quests. The lesser version is equipped nefarious rouge who consorts with Daedra.

It is highly possible that these NPCs may now pose a major threat to your life, and dare I say it, break the balance of the game. Taking this armour for yourself will be an accomplishment worth the peril.

The armour cannot be crafted, at all. It can, However, be tempered, once your tempering prowess is adequate.

There may be some very minor incompatibilities, as I've altered the leveled lists containing atronach forge recipies, and two named NPCs. However it isn't anything which cannot be solved with a merged or bashed patch.

All credit for this go to Telthalion, for creating the original Witchplate set and leaving it as an open resource. To Lautasantenni, who created the oldrim MKII version of the mod and leaving it as an open resource, and to myself, KitWitIssues for editing the idea further and reintegrating it into the game.

I am aware this isn't everyone's cup'o tea. There are other versions of this armor set available elsewhere that keep the armor craftable. Also, I made this for myself and its very very simple, so I don't intend to do anything else to it or really giv …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
