Wispmother summons and volley spells

This mod adds a spell tome to summon Vesper Mother. It also adds Wispmothers Ice Volley as a spell dome and makes it playable.

What's this?

This is an extremely simple mod that adds 2 "new" spells to the game: Summon Wispmother and Ice Volley. Add these two spells in a meaningful location via the spellbook. Your only tip is: Go to Solitude and talk to Falk Firebeard in the Blue Palace. There is a direct spoiler at the bottom.

Why are you doing this?

In the base game, Vespasper can only encounter nature 3 times and only respawn once. I love their lore and thought they deserved a chance to have some adventures with my Necromancer character.

spell

Summon Vespasor Priest: Summons a level Vespasor Priest for 60 seconds. The Wispmother is an undead/frost based entity that will attack with its Ice Volley spell, use a Frost Cloak, raise the dead nearby, and at high levels can even use the Blizzard spell. Her stats are somewhere between frost and storm.

Volley: This is Wispmothers' "signature" ability, volleying out three ice spikes. This spell has been copied from the Priest of Vespasus' version and rescaled to be roughly equal to the Ice Storm spell.

Install

Activate via the Mod Manager of your choice. This mod has no custom resources, just a little bit.

What Is This?

Why Did You Make This?

There are only three natural encounters with a wispmother in the base game and only one respawns. I like their lore and thought they deserved a chance to go on some adventures with my necromancer character.

The Spells

Summon Wispmother: this summons a leveled Wispmother for 60 seconds. the Wispmother is an undead/frost based entity that will attack with its Ice Volley spell, use a frost cloak, resurrect nearby dead and at high levels can even use a Blizzard spell. she has stats balanced somewhere between a frost atronach and a storm atronach.

Ice Volley: this is the Wispmothers "signature" ability, a volley of three ice spikes. this spell has been duplicated from the wispmothers version and retuned to be roughly equal to the Ice Storm spell.

activate via mod manager of your choice. this mod has no custom resources, just one little esp.
