(Disclaimer: This is not my mod, this is a mod for Oldrim's Ro84 in
(Check out Ro84's other builds here, and hopefully if I have time I can port all of his work to SSE. It's really pretty.)
(If you have any mods you'd like ported to SSE, let me know in the comments! I'll try to queue some work in the future.)

Living in the cool swamps is fascinating, especially if you're a mage: the mysterious misty land teeming with dangerous animals and wanderers is perfect for a mage. Not a good place for kids. However, even if you are an experienced alchemist or magician, you have a family: a beautiful spouse, two adorable children... and you care about them. After epic battles and dangerous journeys, you finally plan to retire in private life, enjoying your family and your prosperity in a great nobiliar estate that also reflects your true nature.
If this is the case, you can try this mod.

*Skyrim, the last official patch

I recommend you also use Hearthfire attack disabling (by Raygereio) to avoid bandit attacks and increase security. Load it after upgrading Windstad Estate.
what's new?
This mod turns your sole and dangerous Windstad estate into an unrestricted estate, protected by walls and surrounded by a fully upgraded courtyard. There are a total of 24 new weapon racks located around the hotel.
Promenade and Pavilion - The best part of your property is the great promenade on the west side. A long bridge with a cooking station equipped with cooking pots, oven, mixer and some buckets. The gallery jumps over the wall and leads to the pavilion. From this vantage point, you can admire the vast arc of Solitude, the desolate landscape of the swamps, and the white icebergs of the Ghost Sea.
Forge Hut - The forge area behind your (vanilla) house is now a fully equipped laboratory, complete with forging and tanning racks. There is also a hut with many containers, safes and fortresses, as well as 8 weapon racks. This upgrade is compatible with RND, as the area of the wells added by the mod remains unchanged.
Alchemy Garden - If you are a good chemist, you will love this garden, which blends well with the peculiar surroundings and abundant plants and insects. There is an alchemy table with a satchel and a beehive near the garden.
Coachman's Cabin - A little house made for your coachman, just to add to the immersion (even though he won't sleep in the bed, I felt sad seeing him in there alone). It's a cabin, but it has noble furniture.
Vegetable Garden - Of course your family needs to eat. So this is a vegetable garden. A grist mill is also available.
Fishing hut - a hut near the fish hatchery, outside the wall, with a table and many hanging salmon, some racks and fish barrels. The area is surrounded by a wooden fence.
Key - The gate requires a key to open. You can find keys inside the fishing shack, one to access the Coachman Shack, and three to the forge shack.
Miscellaneous - more trees, shrubs, rocks. A lot of grass was removed. Moved the Animal Predator generator so that its spawn point is located inside the courtyard.
NOTE: The original log pile has been moved down the gallery. Even if you have sawn logs, the log pile won't show how many logs you have; you can look at your workbench or walk near your vegetable garden to see how many you have. Unfortunately, this is a well-known Creation Kit issue. If you don't have sawed logs, the log pile won't show up as usual.
If you want to get rid of it, you can open the console and type "player.drop xx00300e <number of logs you have>" (xx depends on where your Hearthfire.esm is loaded. For example: "player.drop 0500300e 12 " if you have Hearthfire.esm in the 5th position and you have 12 sawn logs). A random item ( …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
