describe:

Widget Mod. Why do you ask? Mainly because I could...finally. It imports various widgets to display various information on the HUD for convenience, so you don't have to enter any menus.

Player-related widgets include: number of arrows in inventory/currently equipped and the name of the ammo type. The gold counter displays gold in your inventory. Widget to display your carry/inventory weight. Global and regional bonus counters. A widget that displays the player level, the experience points required for the current level, and the points you already have for the current level. Speed/Jump Height/Drop Height Widget, which may only be relevant if you use Progressive Speed/Jump Height Mods. A Lockpick counter and a widget that shows the current light level make it easier to determine when you're walking in the shadows. A attributes widget that displays the player's healing, stamina and magic regeneration rates, as well as heltah, stamina and magicka in the values. Finally there is a text-based widget that displays your hotkeyed items by name.

Non-player related widgets: There is a widget for your own horse (does not work with stolen horses), which shows your health, stamina, distance in meters and the horse's name. Another widget adds support for a minion, displaying health, stamina, magic, level, distance in meters and the minion's name.

Configuration: Widgets can be turned off/on and readjusted in the MCM menu. You can change its position, size and transparency. There is also the option to adjust the update timer interval to reduce the burden on slow systems. This mod makes extensive use of .as and .fla code provided to us by Team SkyUI. So all credits effectively go to them. I just take the code they give us and try to make the most of their source. If FISS is installed, user presets can also be saved/loaded.

Known errors:

  • I don't know about it yet, please report any bugs you find

compatibility:

  • It is compatible with everything.

Plan features:

Lots of planning features. Dynamic widgets, color reconfiguration, font reconfiguration and icon changing features.

Acknowledgments and thank you:

In this case I'll have to thank Bethesda, the Creation Kit Wiki …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
