Whistling Mine Ruins
The Whistling Mine is located on the same site as Arena's old town. The town no longer exists in Skyrim, so I decided to add ruins to the area. This mod should be compatible with Arthmoor's Whistling my mod, I can't speak to other mods of a similar nature.

The Whistling Mine is located on the same site as Arena's old town. The town no longer exists in Skyrim, so I decided to add ruins to the area. This mod should be compatible with Arthmoor's Whistling my mod, I can't speak to other mods of a similar nature.
I took inspiration from the city of Amol from Arena Legends City mod and created my own city because I wanted to know why would anyone stay in Winterhold near a functioning town nearby? So since I lacked the knowledge to make a village I decided to build some ruins there which I hoped would be compatible with the villages affecting the area, so I decided to build the village there. I know tested it with Arthmoor's mod and it works fine with that mod and as long as they don't adapt to what I put it in it works fine. Cotton walls follow the path to the snowy plains and wild coast (basically, the direction you would be facing if you exited the mines) ————————————————————————————————————————
I was inspired by the Amol city from Arena legendary cities mod to make my own, as I figured that why would anyone stay in Winterhold when close by is a functioning town? So because I lack the knowledge to make one and plenty of other mods add villages there I decided to instead build some Ruins that hopefully are compatible with mods effecting the area. I know having tested it with Arthmoor's mod that it works with that one and it should work provided they don't clip with what I placed. The mian Wall runs along a path that leads to snowy plains and the wild coast (basically the direction you face if you leave the mine)
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
