"Provides lover's comfort reward to married (mating) werewolves." With permission from the author

Original description:

Now updated to Hearthfire. - Now has the correct archive path.

Source script added

Werewolves continue to receive the Lover's Comfort bonus, but they do not receive the Farther's/Mother's Love bonus.

I'm trying to allow this but I'm not successful, I don't know why, I've removed the werewolf check in the script, but for all my tests my werewolf saves don't get the adoption bonus, but all my non-saves do.

This may be a save issue on my part, I didn't test it on newly created characters so your experience may vary.

I've updated the No Beast blood optional mode to work with HF, and like the Mated version, werewolves don't get the mother/father love bonus, but this will allow non-characters to get the buff. Again not sure why this doesn't work werewolf check this buff has been removed in the script.

Older versions of this mod included pre-DLC sleepquest script files, so it was missing the code to trigger mother/father love.

The purpose of this update is to keep the mod's impact on the game to a minimum so that you don't need to uninstall the mod if you want to play another character that isn't.

_________________________________________________________________________________________

Known Issue: If you adopted a child before getting married, a bug that prevents Lover Comfort can permanently occur in Hearth fires unless you move to your spouse's house and then back to your house. This is because once you adopt a child, your home must have a room for the child, and your spouse does not have one, so you cannot access it.

The most obvious solution is to get married before adopting, do the action fix, and then adopt.

However, if you've filled this up (like me) and progressing into the game so that reloading isn't an option, there's another way.

Bring up the console

Enter "setstage 21382 10"

Lover's comfort should now be applied correctly.

_________________________________________________________________________________________

This is my first mod, so don't be too harsh.

This will apply the lover's comfort bonus to the married werewolf.

Same rules for lover comfort for non-werewolves: Must be the master bed in the couple's home.

No bonus will be awarded for resting on other beds.

Well Rested and Rested bonuses will not be applied in this mod. Attempting to obtain these bonuses' will result in the standard Beast Blood message.

I should also mention that if your character is not a werewolf, it will not affect the application of the rest bonus, so it is safe to run when using other non-werewolf characters.

I created this mod because there didn't seem to be a Werewolf mod that only affected the rest bonus. Also, I don't see a reason why werewolves should be punished from skill bonuses at all. Being a werewolf (vanilla) doesn't give that many benefits, especially in the end game, which I though is the best compromise for getting the rest bonus.

I would like to marry or find a mate for your werewolf should have a sedative effect on beast blood to gain the lover's comfort bonus.

Per request, I made a quick mod (literally commenting out a line) in the files tab under "Nobeastblood.zip" that removes all beast blood restrictions altogether.

The installation only extracts to the .../skyrim/data/ folder.

Apparently these two mods conflict with each other, so only install one at a time.

V1.0

How to install

Copy matedrestedwolf.esp to skyrim\data folder.

Copy PlayerSleepQuestScript.pex to skyrim\data\scripts folder.

If missing, create a file called scripts

First time running.

After loading the game for the first time, you may not get the buff while sleeping in your bed.

To solve this problem, you need to tell your spouse to move to his/her house, and then once they move there, tell them to come back to the house you want.

The buff should then be applied normally, this has nothing to do with this mod, …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
