Hate seeing your character slide after the jump? Go ahead and add some power behind the jump!
describe:
I couldn't stand to see my characters' feet gliding or "skating" tirelessly after they landed from a jump, so I decided to do something about it. This mod can only specifically change jumping and jumping direction behavior by adding movement restrictions, so basically your character can only move after completing the landing animation of the jump.
feature:
Eliminate jump slide when landing
Suggested .ini edits to achieve realistic drop speeds
Optional animation replacer for better visual effects
Optional plugin to disable standing (non-directional) jumping
Compatibility with other behavior modules via Nemesis patch
Installation/uninstallation:
Install using your preferred Mod Manager and follow the instructions in FOMOD.
Uninstall using your Mod Manager.
compatibility:
As long as you reinstall Nemesis Engine, with My Modules checked, any mods (CGO, 360 Sports, Ultimate Combat, TUDM, etc.) that change the behavior file "0_master.hkx" should remain fully compatible.
Fall Rolling Animation SE (not compatible - not really sure why, I tried removing the movement conditions from the .esp but it still doesn't work with my mod installed)
Notice:
I just want to thank the availability of amazing tools like hkxcmd, Skyrim Behavior Editor, and Nemesis Engine that make editing behavior file implementations much easier and more manageable.
Also special thanks to:
Zartar and distar66 were helpful in guiding me through editing the behavior files
5poiler allowed me to use his jump animation
JB, for testing/providing gifs and video comparisons

I couldn't stand seeing stand seeing my character unimmersively sliding or "ice-skating" around with their feet after landing from a jump and so I decided to do something about it. Removes jump sliding when landing
Recommended.ini edits for realistic fall speed
Optional animations replacer for better jump visuals

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
