Original Skyrim version here:
Requires Dawnguard and Dragonborn. Adds wearable horns and tails to all standard game dragons (except skeleton dragons) and DLC dragons (except Duneviel), for both males and females, and supports all vanilla playable races (including beast races). All horns and tails use dragon scales as placeholders_go files. They can be used in any forge or anvil, and they require a single keel and keel. This module should work with any texture replacer as long as the dragon shares the file path of the original texture (as well as the UV map). Included is a skeleton replacement based on the vanilla skeleton so that the tail can be used on non-beast races. It's just a renamed Orc skeleton, replacing the human skeleton. This is the tail that must be used. If one uses a skeleton replacement, let it override one of the mods as long as it supports tail bones for non-beast races.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
