Changelog 1.1
Fixed an issue with Sea of Ghosts Waystation. The door is now connected to the interior.
Changelog 1.2
Fixed Shor's Stone Waystation map marker not appearing
Changelog 1.3
If you run into any issues, the patch for Whiterun Great Forests can be found here, and the author of Great Forests asks you to backtrack to that mod page for help.
=============
To install the Hotfix File: Go to Vanilla Interior Cell, save, exit the game, disable Waystations in the mod manager, return to the game to load the save, and make a clean save.
Install the patch by replacing the plug-in in the data folder with the plug-in contained in the patch file.
If you have Hotfix v 1.3 already installed, try going into the internal cell and saving and then installing the patch. The map marker should appear on the map for Shor's Stone Waystation (if you have already discovered it). If not, you will have to follow the instructions above for reinstalling this patch. I tested this in my own game and the map marker showed up where it didn't before saving, so it should work.
This requires the original mod!

Finally done!
This is a complete rebuild of the My Waystations of Skyrim mod. But why go back to work? The first version of that mod had some major issues, namely a strange swimming effect along the Karthwasten road near the gold mine. I tried fixing it with the original mod, but for some reason it wouldn't let me remove the water square floating in the sky. Then I discovered that the Navmesh Bounds in one of the cells were also broken somehow. All of this led to my decision to get back into modding entirely.
Then like many things, it started to take on a life of its own and I decided to make it bigger, better, and more powerful than the model it replaced. It has to become biomimetic in a sense.
What this mod does:
This mod adds 20 player houses through the game and one large player house/base in Whiterun Plains.
I'm not going to list where all the Waystations are located, but you will find them while traveling, and if you use Frostfall, most likely when you need them most! If you've downloaded the original version of Waystations, you already have a pretty good idea of where Waystations stands. I didn't really change their position. I also didn't change the custom soundtrack included in the mod.
Custom Shrine is one of my own creations, using KonaKoffee to create the Skyrim Logo for my avatar/icon for me. It increases your enchanting abilities. But be careful because of how powerful your magic is. I highly recommend saving before you start experimenting with enchantments.
The exterior model is a re-textured version of the 2-story Herb Farm and Jarl's Long House. The interior has also been re-textured with a modified vanilla texture. There is no need to convince anyone that I did all this work myself. All Waystations include a full blacksmith station outside, and in some cases a smelter. A wooden cutting board is always nearby, as is a "firewood storage" container.
Each Waystation now includes 1 player bed and 2 fan beds, 3 Armor Mannequins (the base they stand on is a secure storage container), a full set of Cooking, Alchemy and Enchanting workstations
Each Waystation is a fully functional player, which means you get Well Rested Bonus while sleeping in your bed.
Where to get the key:
Enjoy watching the video! That's what I did after all.
At the top of this page (and shown in the video) is a riddle. If you can solve this puzzle, then you can get the key to the Waystations and the key to my longhouse for free.
All you have to do is think.
Whhhaaatttt? Don't you want to think about it? Okay, the …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
