1418/5000 When I got back to playing Skyrim, I made this mod. I spend a lot of time working on it in my spare time, so I love it... making it publicly available for those times when you need a one-stop shop for all your home needs including blacksmithing, alchemy, enchantments, displays, lots of storage, and more.
The house is located deep underground and is accessed through a tower next to a waterfall. On the tower, there will be forging/machining equipment on the roof with good views. A trap door takes you into an underground Norse ruin that transforms into a spacious living space for travelers who have traveled across Skyrim with dragons.
I wouldn't normally make a house this big, but due to the limitations of the building kit I was using, it was larger than I expected... and due to the game's lighting issues, I had a lot of extra room to work with. But I really like Nordic ruins and getting the best living space out of the game. I could do more crazy stuff, but it's kind of running out... I don't want to go too big.
It shouldn't have any issues other than some human models not always in the correct pose (game bug) or navmesh issues (also game bug). I haven't returned to Skyrim to play the game yet, so I haven't thoroughly tested my home yet. I hope it can be updated and/or fixed for any issues it may have in ze. But for now... I hope you enjoyed it and enjoyed it. ————————————————————————————————
I made this mod for when I get back to playing Skyrim. I spent a lot of time working on it in my off time and I rather like it soooo... made it public for you in case you need a "one stop shop" for all your household needs including smithing, alchemy, enchantments, displays, plenty of storage, etc.
House is located deep underground and accessed through a tower right next to a waterfall. On the tower there will be smithing/crafting equipment on the roof has well has a great view. The trap door will lead you to the underground nordic ruin converted into a great living space suited to a dragon born traveler that has walked all of Skyrim.
I don't normally make my houses this big but due to limitations of the building kit I used it got a bit bigger than I expected... has well has all the extra spacing out I had to do due to lighting issues with the game. But I really like the Nordic ruins and made the best living space I could out of what was available in game. I could do more crazy stuff but kinda ran out of room... I don't want it TOO big.
There shouldn't be any problems with it beyond some of the mannequins not always being in the correct pose (game bug) or perhaps navmesh issues (also a game bug). I have not gotten back to playing in Skyrim yet so I have not thoroughly tested my home. I expect to update and/or fix any issues it may have in ze future... but for now... hope ya like it and enjoy.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
