Warburg's paper world map flat grid with unofficial restoration and flat map markers INI

by deland·v1.0·Updated 2019-02-11

This makes SSE's paper world map grid flat, so when used with flat map markers SSE, the map markers will remain stationary with the map. This is an unofficial fix based on the paper world map, so it includes those fixes.

About this mod Machine translation

This makes SSE's paper world map grid flat, so when used with flat map markers SSE, the map markers will remain stationary with the map. This is an unofficial fix based on the paper world map, so it includes those fixes.

This is absolutely necessary (why do you need a flat grid anyway): Flat map markers SSE and Warburg's SSE world map

I don't know how well this mod works, but from my limited testing it seems to be fine. If you find any issues, please report them and I'll try to fix them to the best of my ability.

feature

First of all, I want to say that the ESP of this mod is based on the Paper World Map Unofficial Fix.

This is not a complicated fix. Open nifskope, right click on the part of the map, transform, scale the vertices and put 0 in the Z input. I then adjusted the map height and background to make them closer together (I think it looks better). I did this for Dragonborn and Skyrim maps.

There is a realistic water patch and a non-realistic water patch. Choose the one you need. (If using RW2, you don't need the Paper World Map Patch provided with this mod).

ESP offering this mod at the bottom of your loadout order or below the mod will not work properly

Provide an INI for the flat map marker SSE so the map marker will be flat. If you say a port of Duncan's Paper World Map Addons, adding more world space is also easy.

Here's what INI has to offer:

{

"whiteListedWorldSpaces": [

{

"name": "Skyrim",

"editorID": "Tamriel",

"markerHeight": 354072.968750,

"enabled": true

},

{

"name": "Solstheim",

"editorID": "DLC2SolstheimWorld",

"markerHeight": 180000.906250,

"enabled": true

}

]

}

Now I've ported Duncan's Falskaar and Wyrmstooth paper maps myself, so my ini looks like this:

{

"whiteListedWorldSpaces": [

{

"name": "Skyrim",

"editorID": "Tamriel",

"markerHeight": 354072.968750,

"enabled": true

},

{

"name": "Solstheim",

"editorID": "DLC2SolstheimWorld",

"markerHeight": 184072.906250,

"enabled": true

},

{

"name": "Falskaar",

"editorID": "Falskaar",

"markerHeight": 44072.0,

"enabled": true

},

{

"name": "Wyrmstooth",

"editorID": "WyrmstoothWorld",

"markerHeight": 44072.0,

"enabled": true

}

]

}

This is absolutely necessary(why else would you need the flat mesh):Flat Map Markers SSE and Warburg's Paper World Map for SSE

I don't know how well this mod works, but from my limited testing it seems to be fine. If you notice any issues, report them and to the best of my ability I'll try to fix them.

Features

Firstly I'd like to say that this mod's ESP is based off of Paper World Map Unofficial Fix.

This wasn't very much of a complex fix. Opened up nifskope, click on the part that was the map right clicked, Transform, Scale Vertices and in the Z input put 0. Then I adjusted the map height and the background so they were a bit tighter together(I think it looks better). I did this for both the Dragonborn and Skyrim Map.

There is a Realistic Water Two patch and a non-Realistic Water Two patch. Choose the one you need. (If you use RW2 you don't need the Paper World Map Patch provided with that mod).

PLACE THE ESP PROVIDED WITH THIS MOD AT THE BOTTOM OF YOUR LOAD ORDER OR THE MOD WILL NOT WORK CORRECTLY

An INI is provided with this mod for Flat Map Markers SSE so the map markers will be flat. It's very easy to add more worldspaces too it if you say port over Duncan's Paper World Map Addons.

Here's what the INI provided looks like:

{

"whiteListedWorldSpaces": [

{

"name": "Skyrim",

"editorID": "Tamriel",

"markerHeight": 354072.968750,

"enabled": true

},

{

"name": "Solstheim",

"editorID": "DLC2SolstheimWorld",

"markerHeight": 180000.906250,

"enabled": true

}

]

}

Now for myself I've ported over Duncan's Paper Map for Falskaar and Wyrmstooth so my ini looks like this:

{

"whiteListedWorldSpaces": [

{

"name": "Skyrim",

"editorID": "Tamriel",

"markerHeight": 354072.968750,

"enabled": true

},

{

"name": "Solstheim",

"editorID": "DLC2SolstheimWorld", …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
