About this mod Machine translation

Treasure Fiends use cunning and agility to acquire great wealth.

"Yeah, you won't believe this, but...one day I was on my way to Whiterun to visit my sister, just smacking my face in the sun, and then suddenly something burst out in the bushes. On the side of the road, some weird little animal...or...a Little man, grabbing a bag of gold or something and crossing the road. I watched it go across the tundra and then...I don't know what must have scared it...it disappeared, I mean, it just disappeared, it was right out in the open...never seen it like I've seen in years!

Treasure is small, agile and cunning. They leave their dens in search of various treasures. Can you spot one in the wilds of Skyrim? Maybe if the gods smile on you you can even capture one, or maybe even discover the demon himself?

Inspired by other games, where there are fast and rare creatures that appear from time to time that you try to kill in order to get some huge bonuses or excellent loot, Treasure Fiends (of which there are only two in Skyrim at any time (they do respawn)) travel around the world through rivers, hills, and bushes in search of various delicacies, sometimes they will leave their lairs in search of valuable books, or jewelry, and sometimes even rare pelts or ingredients. No matter what they're doing, you're sure to make a huge profit by stopping one of these critters.

If luck is on your side, you may find clues once you get a creature home. The chances of finding a 'clue' on the demon are slim. There are two dens on the Skyrim land.

Hunting Tips:

  • Use ranged weapons
  • Use ranged spells
  • Or hurry up

I'd love to see screenshots of any Treasure Fiends you find!

If there are any errors please be sure to let me know.

The devil's model comes from Vicn Creature Pack SE. (Thank you Vicn, your bio is outstanding)

Good hunting!

Treasure Fiends are small, nimble and cunning. They leave their dens in search of treasures of all kinds. Will you be able to spot one in the wilds of Skyrim? Perhaps if the Divines are smiling upon you, you may even be able to capture one, or perhaps, even discover the fiends den itself?

Inspired by other games having speedy and rare creatures appear from time to time for you to attempt to kill in order to receive some massive bonus or excellent loot, Treasure Fiends (of which there are only two in Skyrim at any one time (they do respawn)) dash around the world through river, hills and shrubbery looking for treats of all sorts, sometimes they leave their dens in search of valuable tomes, or jewellery and sometimes rare furs or ingredients. Whatever they are hauling, you'll be sure to profit greatly from stopping one of these small creatures in its tracks.

If luck is on your side you might find a clue to the whereabouts of the creatures home once capturing one. There is a small chance of a 'clue' being found on a Fiend. There are two dens on the Skyrim landmass.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
