Skyrime's Unique Treasures - VR Patch
This patch only targets Skyrim's unique treasures being burnt by Crimmich which makes it unusable in VR.
What went wrong?
There are three versions of Skyrim's unique treasures - Full, Helpful and Immersive. In the initial patch, you could choose what you wanted from the prompt that appeared when you started the game. However, in VR, this prompt appears on top of the "Press any button" prompt, making both prompts unclickable.
How is the patch fixed?
Basically it removes the prompt. Don't worry, you can still choose which version of the module you want. You just select it in the FOMOD installer for this patch instead of using iname.
Compatibility and installation
Just use your mod manager to install this right after the unique wealth of the sky. It only replaces one script, so it should be compatible with the original mod. It still requires the original module to run. If you want to get rid of the prompt for any reason, it should work just fine in regular SSE as well.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
