About this mod Machine translation

Enable mouse for SkyUI-VR. You can use the controller to control the cursor just like a smart TV remote.

describe

Expired found the code that makes this possible. Thank you very much to him! ! !

This mod is a SKSE addon that enables the mouse in the menu again.

Of course, it requires SkyUI-VR. It's basically plug and play, you'll have the mouse in the menu and can control it with a controller.

Clicking a button is the trigger by default. You can change it from ini file to any button you want.

Since the mouse is enabled, you may want to restore the old functionality in certain situations (such as scrolling in inventory menus, etc.). You can point the controller down or outside the menu area and scroll. Mouse functionality is disabled when the mouse is outside the menu area.

compatibility

It should be compatible with everything.

Install

Install using Mod Manager or install manually. It only contains a skse plugin dll and a configuration file which goes to "Data\Skse\Plugins".

Loading order doesn't matter. It can be installed and removed at any time in a save game.

configuration

The mod comes with an ini file: MenuMouseFix.ini

You can change the "ClickButton" setting to change the mouse click button. Default is trigger.

If you don't know what you're doing, you shouldn't change any other settings. You can try using them. For example, if you're unhappy with the enforced wait times, you can change them.

credit

The code has been expired to make it possible. I used this to make it a working mod.

Since this enables mouse, you may want your old functionality back in some cases such as scrolling in inventory menu etc. You can point your controller down or outside of the menu area and then scroll. When the mouse is outside of the menu area, the mouse functionality is disabled.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
