About this mod Machine translation
These are the four save games at the end of the Dawnguard quest line (Volkihar-Sided)
Since there are no save games for the full Dawnguard (Volkihar-Sided) on the web and wouldn't touch anything else, I decided to make my own.
The saves are almost completely cleared - the only mod I used was "Alternate Start - Live Another Life" to be able to start as a Volkihar vampire without touching anything else. There aren't any other mods involved, not even SkyUI.
I completed the quest line and a side quest: "Find Arvak's Skull" so you can summon him. I did nothing. The only items I looted were the ancient Falmer armor set, Oriel's bow (obviously), a piece of royal vampire armor, and Haakon's sword. (Okay, there are some junk items in the inventory, but nothing special)
Four are saved as:
- Before killing the chef
- After killing the chef
- Before killing Harkon
- After killing Harkon
I used a female Brittany straight.

Since there are no savegames for a completed Dawnguard (Volkihar-Sided) that don´t touch anything else, I decided to make some myself.
These saves are nearly completly clear - the only mod I used is "Alternate Start - Live another Life" to be able to start as a Volkihar vampire without touching anything else. There are no other mods involved whatsoever - not even SkyUI.
I finished the quest-line and one single side quest: "Find Arvak's Skull" so you can summon him. I didn´t do anything else. The only items I looted were the Ancient Falmer Armor set, Auriel´s Bow (obviously), one Royal Vampire Armor and Harkon´s Sword. (Ok, there are a few trash items in the inventory too, but nothing special)
The four Saves are:
- before killing the Arch-Curate
- after killing the Arch-Curate
- before killing Harkon
- after killing Harkon
I used a female Breton btw.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
