There is another family mode, but I did it differently this time. My main goal was to keep the house as close to vanilla as possible, but change and add a lot. The most exciting change is the new secret armory in the master bedroom (see screenshot). I removed all the furniture and redecorated the house to my personal taste.
This mod is still compatible with hearthfire adoption!
If you use ELFX, I recommend using the "NoPlayerHomes" or "NoVlindrelHall" option in the mod's installer. The living room still has 2 floating tiles (ELFX's fault is not mine) so open the console and click on them and type "disable" to get rid of them.
If you find a bug or want to see some improvements, please let me know in the comments. :)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
