About this mod Machine translation
Solitude is the seat of imperial power. This mod turns the roof red, and the Blue Palace roof is now royal blue. New 2K normals and HD textures.
This mode changes the color of Solitude's roof to red, more in line with the Solitude banner and the uniforms of its guards and troops. The roofs of Solitude and the outlying farms and factories are now red, while the roofs of the Blue Palace are now a beautiful royal blue.
Textures are new and required for normal use. No matter how close you get to them, they don't seem to "melt", which indicates a poor normal map. Additionally, I spent time tightening up the textures so now they can be considered HD. Their size is now 2K.
I also added my made-from-scratch trellis to replace the ugly look of those market trellises that look like well holes.
If you do, please agree. If you really like it, a donation would help a lot!
Affected objects and areas
All roofs of Solitude Windmill (or optionally its Sail if using SMIM). Outside the main Solitude gate, it affects all the buildings at Katla Farm, as well as the Solitude Saw Mill and its Camp House.
compatibility
Visitant's Solitude Rooftops are compatible with all mods, including those that alter Solitude textures (e.g., JK's Solitude or JK's All-In-One). Just load it underneath them.
Visitant's Solitude Rooftops are also SMIM compatible via a patch that resizes the Solitude Windmill Sail to match the roof.
Mods used on screen (according to my load order)
SMIM - Merge plugin with sail and 4K options.
JK's Skyrim All-in-One - I like this better than Dawn of Skyrim. But you can choose what you want and this mod works with it!
Skyrim Reality Overhaul - This was found outside and is the basis for all my texture models. You have to dig through all the pieces.
Pfuscher's Skyrim 2017 textures - I modified some parallax parts. Also, I don't use the landscape or mountain portions of this mod.
Photoreal Mountains by Northfire - I think this is one of the best mountain textures out there!
visitor's lonely roof
Weapon Armor Clothing and Clutter Fix - Aside from its effect on clutter, this is where some of the robes I use come from.
Skyrim AIO Lantern - Grazie mille!
Nordic Lantern Replacement - It's on the Skyrim LE/Oldrim side, but I think this is a basic requirement because the default Skyrim Lanterns look horrible!
ENBoost
If you decide to use any of these mods, please remember to support them if you don't already!
my other ways
Skyrim Market Stalls for Visitors - Redesign and repurpose all the market stalls in each holding city. It complements this mod very well!
Whiterun Rooftops SSE for Visitors - Realign the roofs of Whiterun, as well as all roofs of the buildings outside the Whiterun Windmill and Main Gate.
Visitor's HD Night Sky - brilliant reconstruction and recoloring of satellites, stars and galaxies!

This mod changes the the colors of Solitude's roofs to red, which better matches the Solitude banner and the uniforms of its guards and military forces. Now, the rooftops in Solitude and the outlying farms and mills are now red, while the Blue Palace's roof is now a nice royal blue.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
