About this mod
This mod adds compatibility for Valdacil's Valdacil item classification with Unuroboros' Hunterborn SE mod compatibility by adding tags to inventory items.
Optional downloads:
- VIS patch added for Hunter Bowen Soups and Stews
*VIS patch for Hunterborn - Scrimishsaw extends SSE via TravLaney
Supported mod versions:
Valdacil's Item Classification v.3.12.27
Hunter Bourne v. 1.6.2
Hunterborn-Scrimishsaw Expanded v. 3.0 (Legendary). Don't try to install on the lite version or bad things will happen.
NOTE: These patches are part of my larger collection of VIS patches, but I decided to post them separately because they are large and change frequently.
Add tag
Armor: All armor and weapons labeled according to the CIS naming convention.
Ingredients and food products: Labeled according to CIS naming convention.
Miscellaneous: Now, here’s where it gets tricky. Too many items and not enough existing tags. Therefore, I introduced new tags. All available items (such as providing polished carved bones, items obtained while foraging, and items found later) - are marked (for use) by Hunting: Lift them up. All items that are not used in all recipes but are essential (such as corpses) are marked [Hunt].
Skills: Options labeled |Settings|
Install
Make sure Valdacil's Project Category and Hunterborn are installed.
NMM users: Use the "Download with Manager" button to download the file. Install normally.
Manual installation: Unzip the archive and drag and drop the included .esp file into the Skyrim Special Edition/data folder
Loading order
Patches should be loaded after the corresponding mods (Hunterborn, HunterbornSoups and Scrimishsaw respectively). The location of ValdacilsItemSorting.esp doesn't matter.
credit
These patches cannot be implemented without the original mod.

Permissions
I don't own any assets and none are included in the download. For any permissions you should contact the original mod author.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
