Replace vanilla eyes with vibrant eyes! There are also some eye repairs.
Vanilla's eyes seem a bit dull. x.x in
I tried a few eye mods but couldn't decide which one to use! @. @
So I made a mix of my favorites, did some editing of my own, tweaked some colors, and here is the result! ^^
human, yellow eyes
high elf, orange eyes
Khajiit, blue eyes
Orc, gray eyes
Argonian, olive eyes
So what does 'mash-up' mean? Well, I think a picture would explain it better!

Just use the texture replacer...
I wanted to have a very distinct iris, darker darker and lighter brighter, each color different from the others! But I still wanted to stay true to the vanilla, so no colors were changed too drastically!
Another small change is that eyelashes have been standardized. When using two different eyes (e.g. blindness in one eye or heterochromia), neither eye will have slightly different eyelashes!
I also added shadow outside the eyes. IMO, if they are too white, it looks unnatural..not like my eyes look natural..but still!
There are also replacements for some followers' eyes. Only Inigo and Kaidan so far because they're the ones I'm using!
If you have any other fans of unique eye textures, please leave a comment and I can see making some for them too!
If you find that the eyes of Dark Elves, Wood Elves and/or Orcs are too dark or not dark enough, try lighter eyes or darker eyes under the optional files!
This is the texture! Feel free to use textures if you like, but I've also included an .esp with additional eye fixes!
During my screenshots I noticed a few small differences in the eyes... Soo..
Using textures and .esp you get...
The first thing I noticed is that Bethesda has options for bright green eyes and hazel green eyes, but they use the exact same textures! O.o This looked silly so I separated them and now humans can use bright green or light green! :D (I guess it still depends on your race. But if it was an option before, it will actually be a different option now!)
Next, I realized that a lot of blind choices are a bit clunky. Humans and Argonians are fine/normal. But the elves will use the blind eyes of humans or orcs, inconsistently! For example, if both eyes are blind, the High Elves will use the human blind eye, but if only one eye is blind, they will use the orc blind eye... and the Khajiit will use the Argonian blind eye, but at least they are consistent on that because Argonian blind people don't look particularly Argonian, so it's ok on vanilla. But the vibrant eyes gave the Argonian a more Argonian blindness...
So to fix the weird blindness, I added new blind eyes for the elves and Khajiit!
High Elves and Wood Elves now use the new Elf Blind Eyes, Dark Elves still use Orc Blind Eyes as they match up better with Dark Eyes.
compatibility
(These are the ones I'm using!)
Ruhmastered Ultimate Eye Mesh - Compatible!
llygaid Eye Improver - Compatible! (I'm using Unity 1k)
(Other eye related mods that I'm not currently using, but are still compatible)
Khajiit Eyes Extended - Khajiit Heterochromia, etc. - Compatible, but not optimized for SSE. The grid needs to be run through the nif optimizer and the .esp is re-stored in CK.
Any other eye normal map, or sk map etc.
Any eye mesh (eye glow, eyelashes, etc.).
Any vampire eye models, just cover mine when asked.
Curious about any other eye related mod compatibility? Leave a comment and I'll take a look!
Check out my other mods! :)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
