We decided to build a new military camp north of Whiterun to threaten Imperial interests in the area and protect the roads to the north. A number of soldiers have been deployed at the Varglya camp. These brothers and sisters are bottom of the barrel, but tough warriors, many of whom have criminal or other questionable backgrounds. To guide them and control them, I was able to send two of the best officers to Varglya, Helena and Freidar, and now I send them to you.

Your mission is to control the garrison and make this wolf pack an effective fighting force in the area. You are free to use assets as needed; raids on Imperial positions, logistics, and patrols are encouraged.

Fight well or die well!

Galmar Stone-Fist

Camp Varglya is a logical follow-up to my previously released mod Camp Argentum. Argentum added an Imperial military camp, and now, I've also added a similar Stormcloak.

There are 12 NPCs living in the camp. They all have appropriate military roles. Most are regular soldiers (one handed), and officers (two handed), I also included a mage (magician) and an archer (ranged). All soldiers in the camp have personal files that can be read in the filing cabinet in the Commander's Tent, an accessible interior. All NPCs can be recruited as fans. The Amazing Follower Tweaks mod is recommended; with it you can truly become the commander of your own Stormcloak unit. NPCs are essential so they don't die. If you are into imperial milk drinks, it is not recommended to turn off!

NPCs have AI packages and live naturally in their camps, waiting for the next battle.

Antiscamp allows transplantation of Camp Varglya.

Stormcloak Armor Revri's Skyrimaguas are remade for uniforms.

ORIGINAL MOD

We have decided to raise a new military camp north of Whiterun, to threaten Imperial interests in that area and protect the road north. There is already a number of soldiers deployed at Camp Varglya. These brothers and sisters are the bottom of the barrel, but hard warriors, many of them of criminal or of otherwise suspicious backgrounds. To lead them and keep them in check, I was able to send two of my best officers to Varglya though, Helena and Freidar, and now I'm sending you.

You are tasked with taking command of the garrison and making this wolfpack into an effective fighting force in the region. You are free to use the assets as you see fit; raids on Imperial positions, logistics and patrols are encouraged.

Camp Varglya is the logical follow-up to my previously released mod, Camp Argentum. Argentum added an Imperial military camp, and now, I'm adding a similar Stormcloak one as well.

The Camp is inhabited by twelve NPC's. All of them have suitable army roles. There are mostly regular soldiers (1-handed), but also officers (2-handed), and I've included a mage (magic) and an archer (ranged). All the soldiers in the Camp have personal files which are readable in the files Cabinet in the Commander's Tent, which is an enterable interior. All the NPC's are recruitable as followers. The Amazing Follower Tweaks mod is recommended; with that, you can truly be the commander of your own Stormcloak unit. The NPC's are essential, so they won't die. Not recommended to go close if you're an Imperial milkdrinker!

The NPC's have AI packages and live naturally in their camp waiting for the next battle.

Antiscamp for permission to port Camp Varglya.

Skyrimaguas for Stormcloak Armour Revival retexture for the uniforms.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
